This is Martin’s 5th year in the games industry, having previously worked at I-play and Tag Games on a variety of mobile and iPhone projects. After graduating from Heriot-Watt university in 2000, a stint as a software engineer, then a return to Heriot Watt for a Masters degree, he eventually stumbled into the games industry with Digital Bridges (now I-play) in Dunfermline. After a short spell as a QA project lead, Martin moved into design, seeing the release of 2008 Weakest Link, Metal Slug Mobile 3, Super Jewel Quest & Deal or No Deal. After moving to Tag Games in Dundee to take up the dual role of Designer & Producer, another 2 iPhone games were shipped, with 3 more due for imminent release. In March 2009 Martin moved to Ruffian Games to take up the role of Games Designer.

In his spare time he tries to make the world a safer place by teaching people strange and unusual ways to hurt each other.
